Mealworms are like chicken crack for my bantam chickens. When I first bought them, I admit I was grossed out by the shear number of dry worms in a container; but they LOVE them. At about 50% protein, it's a pretty healthy treat for them. Not to mention, when I have them in hand they follow me everywhere, like I'm the chicken pied piper.
