invisible fur balls over my eyes and in my nostrils
sticky itchy eyes
sneezes in triplicate
seeing my patchy brown lawn resurfacing
hearing the birds chirp before my alarm goes off
I know....bah hum bug.....Can't help it, my allergies are making me a grumpy bug...
Seriously though, no matter how itchy I feel, the season has come for RUMMAGE SALES!
There is nothing like the sweet anticipation of a rummage sale. Why do I like them? Organizations that host these sales just want to sell their donated items to make money for their church or school, they don't try to match Ebay prices, they just want to move the stuff out. So all the stuff is thrown into categories and the rummaging is left to the buyer. It's a beautiful thing.
Lucky ducky me...I am surrounded by churches... Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian. The stuff I'm gonna show you is from a single church rummage sale last Saturday- I got there 30 minutes early, was done shopping in 25minutes and spent $37.
When I left, I looked back and the place looked like it was being attacked by a swarm of ants-sooo many people, affirmation that rummage sales take no prisoners- gotta go when they open... no sloppy seconds here.
Anyways...here's the loot.
All LIKES Here's the BIG PIC #1
More LIKES...Here's the BIG PIC #2
I got a pair of these crystal lamps. They both work but for electrical safety, looks like I may be learning to rewire- yay another project.
And the icing on my Rummage sale cake..... as I was checking out I was about to leave when I saw a dusty old pyrex box on the floor. I was certain there would be nothing fabulous in it, but Holy Rotten Pyrex Box; when I opened it, like the sun glaring in my eye, this is what came out...
Gorgeous pyrex warmer, not a chip in sight, print is "Golden Poinsettias".
I can't believe how much stuff I've bought, it's like I'm opening a thrift department store or something- its really ridiculous. Gonna be shopping much less so I can get busy listing all of these fun finds in the next few weeks, so spread the word and visit my shop.
OOOPS, almost forgot the Disliked item of the week.
(Just started reading my blog? Go HERE to find out why I purchase a weekly disliked item) Downside...I've got to make the puzzle to make sure it's complete.
By the way...Soon I'll be hosting an upcoming Giveaway Yippeee!
Wishing you all a Safe and HAPPY EASTER!
